The master bedroom update has been an ongoing project in our home that we’ve made some big progress on. We’ve spent a lot of time working on different projects to make it more our style and turn it into our relaxing retreat. I’m so happy with all of the big projects, but there are still a few details that need to be added to really finish the room.

One of those details that I wanted to add was a large piece of abstract art.

The blank wall between the two windows was in need of some kind of art. I thought about doing a small gallery wall or collection of framed pictures there. But all of those ideas seemed like they would make the wall look cluttered.

We haven’t put any art on the walls in our master bedroom yet, so I was excited to finally pick out the first piece. I wanted something large to fill the space but also simple and peaceful. So I decided to look for an abstract canvas.

I was looking at Kirkland’s online and found this amazing, beautiful abstract canvas. It’s a peaceful landscape in neutral tones that I knew I had to have. The overall feeling that the art has is of relaxation and serenity. Exactly how I want our master bedroom to feel!

Once it arrived and we put it in our master bedroom, I was even more excited about it! The right kind of art can really set the tone for a room, and this one is absolutely perfect for our home. It has just the right amount of interest but isn’t too distracting with all of the other decor elements in the space.
