The master bedroom update has been an ongoing project in our home that we’ve made some big progress on. We’ve spent a lot of time working on different projects to make it more our style and turn it into our relaxing retreat. I’m so happy with all of the big projects, but there are still a few details that need to be added to really finish the room.

One of those details that I wanted to add was an accent chair. I think that accent chairs in a master bedroom make the space feel even cozier. It’s also a good way to create seating in your room besides your bed.

I’ve been looking for the perfect accent chair to sit in the corner of our master bedroom. There is just enough space by the window for a chair and maybe even a small side table.

There are tons of options for accent chairs out there, but I wanted to find something that fits into our home style. So, I was leaning towards more modern, clean-lined chairs.

Wayfair had some great options at really affordable prices. I ended up finding this light blue accent chair that I just fell in love with.

It has a mid-century vibe but it also looks slightly traditional. So it’s not too modern or too traditional for our space. Perfect for our modern classic home.

The overall shape of the chair is very clean. But it doesn’t look stark or rigid because of the softness of the slightly rounded arms and cushion.
