Succulent Pot

Learn to Craft a DIY Succulent Pot - Easy Guide for Beginners. Elevate your Home Decor with Custom Succulent Planting. Perfect Indoor Gardening Project.

MATERIALS

– A variety of succulent plants – A planter or container for your garden (this one is almost identical mine) Potting soil Small stones or gravel Screen material (optional)

First, you will need to find some succulents for your pot You can find succulents at most home improvement or gardening stores, but I found mine at IKEA. If you don’t even want to leave your home, you can also find succulents on Amazon!

First, create a layout for your succulent pot. I grouped all of the succulents together and played around with the arrangement until I had something that looked nice.

In order to let the water flow properly through the soil, you will want to have a layer of stones or gravel at the bottom of your container. Use a small piece of screen material to block the large holes at the bottom of the pot.

Next, create a layer of gravel along the bottom of the pot.

Add a layer of potting soil to the container until it's about 1/4 of the way full.

Time to add the succulents! Remove each plant from its container.

Placed the plants one by one into the pot. After each plant is added, layer in more of the potting soil to fill in the gaps.

Once all of the succulents are in their final locations, fill everything in with more soil until the surface of the pot is even.

Give your new DIY succulent pot some water and you are finished!
