Can we all agree that Thanksgiving is an amazing holiday? It’s an entire day devoted to spending time with family and making tons of good food!
I feel like Thanksgiving is a little underrated because it gets completely overshadowed by Christmas. I have to admit that Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday, but Thanksgiving is definitely a close second.
Spending Thanksgiving with my family is a tradition that I look forward to every year. I love when everyone’s back in the same home and we can all catch up and talk about life.

Our family doesn’t really have a specific tradition around Thanksgiving. We do some of the same things every year, but overall each Thanksgiving is kind of unique. We’ve spent Thanksgivings at home, with other relatives, and even on vacation. It may not look the same every year, but the one tradition that stays the same is spending the day with the people we are closest to.
Thanksgiving is coming up fast this year, and I’ve been busy planning and creating something unique. Instead of putting all the focus on dinner, I thought why not make dessert stand out! Pies are just as much a part of Thanksgiving as the turkey, but they never get as much attention. This year I created an entire Thanksgiving pie bar to make dessert the main attraction!
To make this Thanksgiving pie bar, I pulled out all of my cake stands and wood slices to create a pretty arrangement of pies. I layered in some of my favorite fall decorations like this cozy throw blanket and a cute white pumpkin.
For the desserts, I went with an assortment of my favorite Thanksgiving pies – Apple, Pecan, and Pumpkin.
My favorite part about this pie bar is all the little details. I found this cute new shop called Jessica N Designs and I couldn’t resist picking up a few new pieces to add to my collection. Jessica N Designs is a cute little shop that has all kinds of custom hand-stamped goodies! I totally fell in love with their fall and Thanksgiving collection.
Stick around to the end of the post, because I’m going to have a coupon code for you so you can check out the Jessica N Designs online shop!
I love this adorable Pie Server from the Jessica N Designs Thanksgiving collection. The hand-stamped design gives it a unique and personal touch. This is one of those pieces I’ll be bringing out every Thanksgiving for years to come!
Where there’s pie, there definitely needs to be whipped cream! I put a nice big bowl of whipped cream right near the main pie for easy access so guests can help themselves to as much as they like.
I couldn’t resist grabbing this Thankful spoon from the Jessica N Designs Thanksgiving collection. It was just too pretty to pass up!
Over on the other side of the pie bar, I put together an assortment of mini pies. I think these mini pies are so cute and they are a nice alternative to lots of larger pies. Who wouldn’t love grabbing their own personal mini pie?
In the middle of my pie bar, I have a nice little setup for dessert coffee. Of course, I put a ton of whipped cream on top.
The Coffee and Cuddles mug is my new favorite fall mug. I love the hand-lettered design and it fits in perfectly with the rest of my pie bar. After Thanksgiving dinner and dessert, it really is all about coffee and cuddles.
I don’t know if you know, but I actually grew up in Ohio. So when I saw this Home Grown spoon, I knew that I had to get it. It’s a cute nod to my roots and where I’ve spent most of my Thanksgivings with family.
To finish the pie bar, I added a little extra flair. I designed these cute flags that are just the right size for toothpicks. I think they look so fun scattered around and layered together!
I printed the flags on cardstock and then I used my Cricut Explore to cut them all out.
PS: I used the same steps to print and cut the flags as I did for my meal planning stickers. Click here to read all about that method.
You can download a set of these printable flags for free.
