Welcome back to the Friday 5!
This Monday is the Fourth of July! I love celebrating by going to see parades and local festivals. There’s always something to do and most of the time the weather is beautiful. My absolute favorite part of July 4th is the fireworks! It’s so much fun to find the perfect spot, spend some time with family and friends, and then enjoy the show together. This year we are going to 2 fireworks shows – one on July 4th and one the following weekend! For today’s Friday 5, I’m sharing 5 Fourth of July fireworks essentials.

- July is normally a hot month, but at night, it can cool off and even get a little chilly. While you are waiting for the fireworks show, throw on this oversized spirit jersey. It’s super cute and fun with the phrase ‘Merica on the back!
- Waiting for fireworks is a great time to have a picnic. Pack some food and drinks in this picnic basket and bring it along so you’ll have snacks while you’re waiting.
- This American flag scarf is super lightweight and also adorable! If it cools off when the sun goes down, but it’s still a little warm, this is a nice option for layering.
- When you find the perfect fireworks spot, throw down this pretty navy herringbone blanket. Everyone can sit, relax, and snack on that food you brought!
- Finally, Fourth of July fireworks and Sparklers go hand in hand! My favorite thing to do is to “write” in the sky with sparklers. Don’t forget to bring these (and a lighter) for lots of fun once the sun goes down.
I hope you enjoyed my Friday 5 for this week!
Have a great weekend!
